Full bathroom renovation replacing a dated tub-and-shower unit with a curbless walk-in shower, a floating vanity and a recessed niche, finished in large-format porcelain.

This renovation started by removing the original fiberglass tub-and-shower unit and taking the room back to the substrate. The walls and floor were prepared and reinforced to create a stable, level base ready for large-format tile.

A complete waterproofing system was applied – sealed seams, corners and niche detailing – with the shower area built curbless and sloped toward a linear drain for a clean, barrier-free entry. Large-format travertine-look porcelain was installed floor to ceiling, with precise layout and alignment across every surface, and a recessed niche was integrated for storage. The room was finished with a floating vanity, a quartz countertop and a large mirror. From waterproofing to final finishing, every step was completed with attention to detail – for a durable, fully waterproof and modern result.
